My little Indian

I just had to post these darling pics I got of my little Indian. I took these right before he left for his Thanksgiving feast at school. He thought he looked so awesome, and I have to agree. My sweet little Jace can make anything look good!

Tyler's Birthday!

I can't believe my sweet little Ty-Bear turned 9 the other day! My Dad always said "The years will pass in a blink" and so far he has been right. I have to keep telling myself "he is only nine", but he acts so mature beyond his years, it's easy to forget. I wish he would just slow down and let me keep my little boy a bit longer. I don't think that's going to happen any time soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY-WE LOVE YOU!!!

More Halloween Fun!

Pumpkin carving is best left to the men.

Okay, I know it's a little... er a lot belated, but we had so much fun this year that I couldn't resist posting more of our Halloween pics! We especially loved having Christy & Zoey in town for a few days so we could play, and go trick-or-treating. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (I think it has something to do with all the treats!) and I love to see how much my boys enjoy it too.

Street Carnival

On Saturday our neighborhood did its annual Street Carnival! The kids had so much fun running around and showing off their fun Costumes. There were so many Games to play and things to do my kids were entertained for hours! Luckily my mom came helped me with my Popcorn booth. She is always such a good sport! This is honestly one of my favorite things to do each year, thanks again to everyone who made it so fun for me and my kids!

New Camera!

I know, I know, It has been a while since my last post. What can I say I am a blogging slacker! I apologize for being so bad about blogging, but from now on it should be a lot easier.
The other day my husband surprised me with a new camera! Just when I thought his days of being a "romantic" were over, he totally catches me off guard with this. He even wrapped it like a present!
Now I can blog with the best of you, or at least try to keep up.
Thanks for the camera sweetie! You did good, way better than flowers!

Ryder the terrible!

It's hard to beileve that my baby is two years old already! I honestly don't know where the time goes. Rest assured he is already giving the "terrible twos" new meaning, more like "never a second without a mess twos". On certain days he has a partner in crime with cousin Alexa. It is a good thing they are so darn cute, I can never stay mad for to long. In the last week they have: pulled every wipe out of a box of 80 one by one, ran out more than one roll of toilet paper on the floor, dumped out a container of popcorn on a freshly vacuumed rug, dumped a bag of marshmallows & chocolate chips all over the kitchen, put 2 handfulls of crayons into a pitcher of orange juice that I had just made, picked almost all of my barely surviving petunias, disassembled a box of tampons, and Ryder played with the toilet brush when ever he got a chance (he knows I really hate this one, so that makes it that much more appealing). I promise I really do watch them, they are just so darn quick. They have also figured out that while I clean one of them up, the other can be making another mess! I don't know what I would do with myself if my "doodle" wasn't around to make life interesting. I wouldn't have it any other way. Even with everything he puts me through, I feel so blessed to have such a healthy happy boy running everywhere. I know one day I'll miss this. Just not today. =)

I finally did it!

For years I have toyed with the idea of starting my own business from home, selling my favorite goodies. I am proud to say that after much encouragement and prodding from my family and friends, I finally did it! I have set up a blog called "The Goodie Girl" and put some of my favorite treats to make (and eat) out there for people to try. I have sold my Brownies in the past, and had a great response! So I decided to expand my menu to include my other favorites! If you are in the mood for a yummy treat, or know someone with a sweet tooth, let me know. You won't be disappointed!

Onion Days!

I was so excited for Onion Days this year. Not only was my sister and her family comming, but my brother , his wife and baby girl flew in as well. We had every moment planned out, as usual.... That is every moment except the monsoon that came through town during the parade! Everyone was soaked! Children were floating away from parents, lawn chairs were abandoned, and the annual band concert was cancelled. It was a major bummer on a day that we always look so forward to :(
However, our hope was restored with the Bake-off competition. I won 1st place in the adult cream pies division, and 2nd place in muffins! I made a Carmel Pecan French silk pie, and a Carmel Apple Crisp muffin. It is so fun to do something I love to do, and have other people appreciate it! Tyler also won 2nd place in the junior division with his brownies that he calls "fudgeyboos"( I think he got that off Drake and Josh). I have to admit it was so hard not to just jump in and do it for him, but I've got to hand it to him, he made them all by himself. We had a great time doing it together and I'm sure we will enter again next year.
It was really great seeing everyone! Oh and Catie next year leave the monsoons in AZ :)

Stewart Reunion

Last week was in a word CRAZY!

It was the Stewart family reunion in P-Town USA. We had a great time catching up with everyone and seeing how the kids have grown. It is hard to beileve that in such a short amount of time our family has gotten so big! We made sure to fill the week with as many activities as possible, keeping in mind that we had 24 kids all under 8 years old. It was a non-stop fun fest! Complete with biking, camping, canoeing, swimming, movie nights and an amazing kids carnival. Family poured in from all over to experience everything P-Town has to offer. I know that CLUB Anderson had a great time and are already wondering when we can do it again. I also must give a special thanks to cousin Jen and auntie Jill for the great pics. We love you, take care till we see you again.

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!! Joshua has won! As Mary Murphy would say wooooooooo whoooooooooo! I was seriously on my feet in my living room. My husband thought I had lost my mind! I was dancing and clapping so loud he thought I might wake up the boys. I am so glad that Joshua won he is truely an amazing dancer, not to mention he is so dang cute. I have to give props to Twitch also, I didn't realize he was in so many of my favorite routines until the finale. Needless to say this episode of " So You Think You Can Dance" will remain protected on my DVR for many months to come. Love it- Love it- Love it!

Happy Birthday Mom

I just wanted to wish my mom a very Happy Birthday! You are so amazing, and I love you to death. You are a great friend and a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. I love our "girls nights out" and our great talks. Thanks for being the person you are, you helped me become the person I am. I hope you don't mind I opted for some old school pics.

I'm obsessed!

So I have to openly admit that I am obsessed with "So you think you can dance", mainly because my favorite couple has made it to the finale! I love Katee & Joshua. Ever since week one when they did their amazing hip-hop routine to "No air" I have been glued to the show. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend checking it out on youtube. This week they blew me away again with their contemporary dance. That mid-air catch they did was awesome! I think that Joshua might win the whole thing, or at least I hope he does. I hope that admitting all of this doesn't make me to much of a dork. Oh well =)

Our Anniversary

Last week Dave and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast the years go by, and how quickly styles change. : ) I was looking through my wedding album today and I couldn't believe how young everyone (including Dave and I) looked! Cody was so little, it made me feel old. Lately time together is a rareity, especially with children using up every spare minute, however I truely feel that the secret to a good marriage is to always make the time for each other. I know people always say that, but it really is true. I still look so forward to my husband comming through the door after work, not just as a hand off, but because he is still my best friend and I can't wait to talk to him. We have such a great friendship that everything else is an added bonus! That's not to say it's all been smooth sailing, but we have been together long enough to know that we can get through just about anything together. I can't wait to see what the next ten years bring. Happy Anniversary Dave! I love you!

This is my very first blog! I am so excited to finally have a computer that works, so that I can keep in touch with everyone.

As most of you know I am one of the founding members of the exclusive "CLUB Anderson". It is a boys only club so as the only female member I consider myself quite lucky. We are always on the go and love to have fun! In fact this summer has been a non-stop fun fest, and I am exhausted! I can't wait for school to start. I guess for now I'll just have to buck up and try to keep up with my boys. As long as they keep making diet Dr. Pepper & Skinny Cow's I should be fine. I also need to take this oppertunity to tell you all how great all of your blogs are. I am seriously impressed by how clever and creative you all are. I hope I can learn quickly and be able to keep up. I just wanted to say hello and let you know I'm here.=)
